So You Think You Can Dance Finale

Tonight we'll find out who of the Final Six dancers will be taking the stage on next week's big So You Think You Can Dance finale. I, for one, am ecstatic that both Brandon and Kayla are in the finale! Last night Brandon received a judges’ standing ovation for his solo, recognized by Nigel Lythgoe as “the best solo of any Season ever!“ Kayla has been a vision of angelic loveliness and perfection since day one.

The remaining two competitors – Evan and Jeanine – are definitely worthy contenders. Ada and Melissa, the two dancers receiving the lowest number of votes and sent home on the July 30 episode, could have easily danced their way into the winner’s round as well. It has been an amazingly even playing field. In watching the trios in their group performances (when it was easiest to compare girls against girls and guys against guys) the overall quality of the dances were stellar and teamwork was paramount. Lythgoe confirmed last night, and on previous episodes, that “this is the most talented Top 20 in the history of the show.” I agree.
